Stage 1: The Worksheet
This is the first extraction done using the previous year’s information. For example, if our goal is to create the Spring 2009 schedule of classes (SOC), we would start by pulling a batch report for Spring 2008 (200805). The “Worksheet” is our skeleton for the SOC semester we are currently working on. This will allow us to see what was offered the last spring semester. Once adjustments have been made, this is submitted to the Registrar’s Office as an attachment via email.
This is the second extraction done using the current year’s information that was uploaded from the Worksheet. For example, if our goal is to update the Spring 2009 schedule of classes (SOC), we would pull a batch report for Spring 2009 (200905). The “1st Edit” is our Draft for the SOC semester we are currently working on. Once adjustments have been made, this is submitted to the Registrar’s Office via email. After this point departments lose first call rooms.
This is the final extraction done using the current year’s information. For example, if our goal is to update the Spring 2009 schedule of classes (SOC), we would pull a batch report for Spring 2009 (200905). The “Final Edit” is our last upload for the SOC semester we are working on. Once adjustments have been made, this is submitted to the Registrar’s Office via email.
Stage 4: Changes
After submitting the Final Edit, updates, such as Adds, Deletes, updating days, times, etc. must be submitted on a template via email to the Registrar’s Office.
