DegreeWorks - The Degree Audit System for Texas State University

 What is DegreeWorks?
DegreeWorks is the Degree Audit System for Texas State University. DegreeWorks assists the advising process and greatly simplifies the preparation of student graduation audits. The DegreeWorks audit is an advising report that shows a student’s progress towards their degree. Students can request a degree audit report through the SSB, student services menu, under Degree Audit after they logon, for the degree program(s) in which they are enrolled or for degree programs in which they are interested. DegreeWorks takes the guess work out of selecting courses for future enrollment.

What does DegreeWorks show?
University major and graduation (i.e. general education and university degree) requirements are displayed. DegreeWorks shows which of these requirements the student has already fulfilled and which remain to be completed. Students can print a copy and take it with them when they see their academic advisors. Instructions are available through the video tutorial link below.

Dr. Gary Springer, the Degree Audit Coordinator, is the programmer for DegreeWorks and assists faculty and staff with Degree Audit issues, but does not work directly with students about their audits. Students should contact their academic advisor for all questions regarding their degree audit.
